One Wednesday February 17, 2001, we hosted a First Degree at Wauconda Masonic Lodge
The event was a great success with a lot of Brothers coming for the 1st Degree.
We would like to say thank you for all the Brothers that came out to help us welcome a new Brother to the craft.

Wauconda Lodge 150th Re-dedication of our Lodge
Re-Ded
On Saturday October 24, 2009 we had our 150th Re-Dedication of our lodge.
The Ceremony began at 12:00 pm with Lunch that followed after at Docs.
 
 
We had a huge turn out and will be posting some photos on line soon to show the event.
The Worshipful Master and Brothers of the lodge would like to say thank you for everyones help in
making this event the success it was. We all had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone
at future events that we will be having at our lodge.

2nd Annual Wauconda Child Identification and Fingerprint Fair

Thank you Everyone for giving us a hand in making our 2nd Annual Child Identification and Fingerprint Fair at Wauconda Masonic Lodge on Saturday May 19th, 2007 a successful event.

We were able to make make over 70 ID's for various children

Initiated: September 30, 1949, Malta Lodge No. 465, Grand Rapids, Michigan, along with his half-brothers Thomas Gardner Ford (1918-1995), Richard Addison Ford (1924-) and James Francis Ford (1927- ). The Fellowcraft and Master Mason Degrees were Conferred by Columbia Lodge No. 3, Washington, D.C., on April 20 and May 18, 1951, as a courtesy to Malta Lodge. Brother Ford was made a Sovereign Grand Inspector General, 33°, and Honorary Member, Supreme Council A.A.S.R. Northern Jurisdiction at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, on September 26, 1962, for which he served as Exemplar (Representative) for his Class. Brother and President Ford was unanimously elected an Active Member of the International Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay and its Honorary Grand Master, at its Annual Session held at Orlando, Florida, April 6-9, 1975; Brother Ford held this post until January 1977, at which time he became a Past Honorary Grand Master, receiving his Collar and Jewel on October 24, 1978 in Topeka, Kansas, from the Hon. Thomas C. Raum, Jr., Grand Master, Order of DeMolay.

       
The following is the text of a message of condolence on the passing of our Brother Mason, Gerald R. Ford, 38th President of the United States of America and a member of Malta Lodge No 465, Grand Rapids, Michigan.   This statement was issued December 27, 2006 by the Grand Masters of New York and Michigan and the Executive Secretary of the Masonic Service Association of North America.

"Gerald R. Ford embodied the tenets of Freemasonry. He upheld the values of personal integrity and of being true to his word, and in a time of great crisis, Brother Ford, a true patriot, also sought to heal our ailing Nation.  As our President, he represented our fraternity well. On behalf of the Grand Lodges of Free and Accepted Masons of the States of Michigan and New York, the Masonic Service Association of North America, and Masons  everywhere, we offer our sincere condolences to Betty Ford and her family on the passing of Brother Gerald Ford, a humble man who calmly guided our country out of one of its darkest hours."

Wauconda Lodge Food Pantry Essentials Drive Dec 7th

Thank you to everyone who was able to contribute to the relief of some of the needy people in our community. We were able to collect a lot of things for people who were less fortunate in our area, helping them to have a more merrier holiday time of year.

This was a first attempt at our food pantry essentials drive and we look forward to having many more in the near future and hope that everyone can help to make it an even bigger success.

The things currently requested are: Canned Food Goods (such as Fruits & Juices (although any canned goods are a welcome donation)), Laundry Detergent, Face Soap & Tooth Paste. Donations will be accepted during our meeting from 8pm to 9pm on Thursday December 7th 2006. Thank You for your help Brothers in helping us help our community.

 

Wauconda Masonic Lodge Holiday Dinner Dec 7th

On Thursday December 7th we had our Wauconda Masonic Lodge Holiday Dinner. It was a great Holiday dinner for all. Dukes went out of his way to make this dinner simply amazing. It showed us why we always are happy to hold our events at Dukes because he makes you feel like family. We would like to thank all the Brothers who were able to attend and hope that everyone had a great Holiday time.
 

Lake County School of Instruction Oct 30th

On Monday October 30th, Wauconda Masonic Lodge hosted the Lake County School of Instruction. The subject of the school was Conferring the First Degree: Competition 2006. We had a nice turnout of Brother attending the school and would like to thank everyone who was able to attend.

Grand Lodge - School of Instruction at Wauconda Oct 14th

On Saturday October 14th, Wauconda Masonic Lodge hosted a Grand Lodge School of Instruction. We had a big turn out of brothers for work on the 1st degree 1st and 2nd part. We would like to thank everyone for attending the event and for all the people who helped to fill the slate for the degree work.

 

Grand Lodge - Springfield, Illinois Oct 6th & 7th 2006

We had an awesome time down at Grand Lodge. It was a nice turn out with Brothers and Sisters from all over the world joining us at our Grand Lodge this year.

Pork Chop Dinner

 

On September 9th we had a fantastic Pork Chop Dinner.

The Brothers and Sisters of Wauconda Lodge are pleased to announce that had an awesome turnout for the dinner event. Lots of people showed up and had an amazing dinner.

On August 12th, 2006 Wauconda Masonic lodge hosted its first BBQ Cook-off competition. We are pleased to announce that it was a huge success. Tons of people showed up and brought their appetites. We did also have a chance to take lots of photos & those will be posted soon on the website for people to see.

The winner of the BBQ Ribs cook off was Worshipful Brother Bruce Gay representing Wauconda Masonic Lodge.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and gave a hand to this awesome event.

September 25th Installation of Officers for the Ensuing Year

September 1st Goodbye Worshipful Zee Steak Dinner

On September 1, 2005 we had our last meeting with Worshipful Master Ziad D. Hamideh. Our meeting was touched off with an incredible steak dinner for the Brothers who were able to attend. We had a lot of people who showed up and we will always remember our Worshipful Brother Zee in our hearts and minds as we turn the gavel over to a new Brother to run the lodge in the next year.

August 6th Child ID & Fingerprint Fair Update

Our Event was a huge success. We are happy to report that many families were able to attend our event.

The event was able to give over 60 children a new child ID with fingerprint card.

We would like to thank everyone who was able to attend our 1st Child ID & Fingerprint Fair.

We would also like to give a special thanks to the Wauconda Police and Fire Department for attending our event and helping us with the ID process and also bringing their vehicles by and spending time with the families.

We also would like to thank all the Brothers and close friends of the lodge who volunteered their time and effort to make this event the huge success that it was. We look forward to doing other events for the community.
